Banks & Jones is thrilled to announce that firm founder, T. Scott Jones, has just been named one to the Million Dollar Advocates and Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forums! This prestigious forum is made up of trail attorneys throughout the country who have won jury verdicts or settlements for at least $2 million. There are currently about 4000 members of the Forums, which means fewer than 1% of all trial attorneys in America are part of the group.
The Million Dollar Advocates Forum and Multi-Million Dollars Advocates Forums grant memberships for life to applicants who have the chops to win big verdicts in high-stakes cases. T. Scott Jones’ reputation for aggressive, comprehensive representation has allowed him to work on some of the most complicated and high-profile cases in Knoxville and the surrounding areas. He never backs down from a fight. That is one reason why he has had such a successful track record for his clients.
More about the Forums
The Million and Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forums were established in 1993. The group includes litigators who practice in a wide variety of fields, including personal injury, business and employment law, to name a few. Applicants must:
- Be a current member of their respective Bar(s) in good standing
- Have served as the principal counsel (meaning “one or more attorneys who were primarily in charge of and responsible for the preparation, management and settlement/ arbitration/ trial of a qualifying case”) in a jury trial, a binding arbitration proceeding, or in a settlement negotiation
- Have won an award of at least two million dollars that applies “to the economic present value of the award, not the overall payout amount”
All awards are verified by the Forum itself.
While none of us are surprised that T. Scott has been named to this group, we’re all very proud of him and the work he does on behalf of his clients every day. He’s a fighter, and that’s why our firm’s clients have trusted us to take care of them and their loved ones when times get tough.
Congratulations on becoming a Million and Multi-Million Dollar Advocate, T. Scott!
